“Overthrowing Challenges”

I Samuel 30:1-6 I Samuel 22:1-8 Genesis 14:11 Proverbs 6:31

• When the enemy invades your home or your marriage

• It’s all about taking something away from you – Subtracting from you

• The enemy will come through the back door or he will side swipe you – Even when you are doing everything right

• It is the enemy’s M.O. to take something captive – The devil don’t play fair

• David went and ministered to the four-hundred men in the cave Adullam – God brought them out of their distress, debt, and discontentment (their cave mentality )

• Life will sometimes throw you a curve – Like David, you have to learn to encourage yourself

• Don’t sit around waiting on someone to encourage you – Get into your secret place and encourage yourself

• Go before the Lord – He is the only one that can bring you out victoriously

• Stop sitting around crying – It is not the time for crying – It is time for battle

• Either you are attacking the enemy or he is attacking you – Either you are fighting the enemy or he is fighting you

• There is no middle ground – The devil is not going to let you start a business without him doing everything he can to stop and block you

• The one thing the devil doesn’t want – For you to let God bring glory and honor to your life

• Quit feeling sorry for yourself – Stop waiting to see what God will do about the situation

• God does not need you to wait to see what He is going to do – He needs you to get out and fight, fight, fight

• God is the “God of the War” and He is the “God of the Battle” – Get in the battle and start fighting for your life

• Pursue – Overtake – Recover all

• Declare war – Let the devil know that it’s going to cost him something for messing with you

• Declare the Word of God on the devil – Demand that he cease all activity against you

• Loose him – Sever him – Break him into pieces – Destroy – Crush – Dissolve his works by the authority of the name of Jesus

• Shout your victory – Right now

• Declare and decree that the Lord has said unto you – That you are the healed – The prosperous – The blessed – The head and not the tail – Above and not beneath

• I am not defeated – I am victorious

• Every time the devil gets into your life – He tries to go his way with your stuff

• When you hear bad news – Don’t start calling everyone – It’s time to start doing something

• Declare that the fight is on – Let the enemy know that he crossed the line when he started messing with you

• When the anointing of the Lord is upon you – You got a just cause – A righteous cause

• You don’t have to sit around crying and waiting for something to happen

• You already have permission – The authority – The power – The anointing

• To do something about your situation

• Pursue: The act of chasing – Overtaking – To chase down like a dog – To hunt – To track down – To go after

• When something happens in your life and the enemy comes after you

• You need to go after him – When you go after him in the name of the Lord – The Lord is going to be with you

• The battle is not just about you – It’s about generations – The devil has been stealing from your blood line – Your family members have not done anything about it

• Declare and decree that the enemy must bring back all of your generational stuff right now

• When you start the hunt – God will anoint you – He will give you insight and strategy on how to defeat your enemy
PURSUE – OVERTAKE – RECOVER ALL!
