Isaiah 6:8 John 19:1-42 John 20: 1-18

• The Bible tell us God asked the questions - Who will go for us? Who can we send?

• God could not send Abraham, he was a liar – He could not send David, he was
an Adulterer

• God needed someone who was without sin – Someone who would be willing to go to the cross

• Jesus said “I’ll go, send me” - The way of the cross was a hard way to go

• Jesus said “Father, let this cup pass from me – Never the less thy will be done “

• Jesus was in agony bearing the curse of sin due every man and woman

• Jesus’ sweat became as a drop of blood as he prayed in the garden for mankind

• The soldiers took Jesus to Pilate’s judgment hall – There they led him to be crucified

• After beating, mocking, spiting, and humiliation of every kind – Jesus still saved the thief

• Then he hang his head down and died – The sky grew dark and the thunder rolled

• They took Jesus down and placed him in the sepulcher – He is the Son of God – He did not stay in the grave

• He is the risen Savior – The redeemer of mankind – Ever making intercession for us
