“Moving in His Power and Receiving His Promises”

Proverbs 16:7 1 John 3:22 Proverbs 3:9 Deuteronomy 26:10-11

• This is a message about first fruits – It’s about a first fruit principle

• Maybe you don’t understand principles – God will open up the word for you

• God installs principles - He locks His self into them – We can trust God

• How do you honor God? – When we obey him and when we trust him

• We can’t obey or honor God if we do not trust – So how can we say we love him

• When we asked anything of God and we keep His commandments - He will do it

• You are operating in the principles –All the time – It is about the principles

• First fruits is about loving, honoring, obeying, and trusting God all the time

• Some will ask is this Old Testament or New Testament? Who cares? –It’s Bible

• Do the first fruit the first of the year – And all the rest of the year will be blessed

• Some want to be released from last year’s vow (their commitment)

• Don’t release me!!! I want the blessings from the last year and this year

• We are in covenant with God – We have an agreement with God

Deuteronomy 18:4 Deuteronomy 12:6 Exodus 34:26 Matthew 6:19-33

• God is our source – Not your paycheck – Not your job – Pay your vow

• 4 things that first fruit is:

1. Principles - Law
2. Worship - Form
3. Sign – Put God first
4. Rejoicing – Attitude

• God wants us to give our best on March the 7th – It’s is not negotiable

• 4 things that indicate God is first:

1. Whom do you think about most of the time?
2. What consumes most of your time?
3. Where do you put your money?
4. Whom do you trust?
