“Moving in His Power and Receiving His Promises”

Proverbs 16:7 1 John 3:22 Malachi 3:6 -11 Numbers 21:4

• God will make even your enemies to be at peace with you – we have a lot of enemies in life

• Enemy of strife, enemy of sickness, enemy of failure, failed marriage, and lack

• We commit to pleasing God –We declare even our enemies to be at peace with us

• We are believing God for break through – We can’t afford to miss God this year

• Some of us have been on the verge of quitting –“Don’t let go”–This is your year

• How many are here today and all you want to do is please God? Return to God

• Return – Means withdrawn, restore, repent, rend again – Return to me

• Repent unto me, not just “I’m sorry”, that will not – True repentance

• Repentance - A change of heart –A change of mind – A change of direction

• God needs you to repent – When you violate someone you need to repent

• When you violate a trust then repent – Can God trust you to change

• Where is your focus and your loyalty – We must repent to go forward

• What you compromise today, you will lose tomorrow – Do not compromise

• Get a change – A change of attitude - What is your attitude toward tithing

• The seed will meet every need - My tithes is my worship – They go to the storehouse

• The tithes go to one house, one storehouse – The tithes go where you go to Church

• Where you go and the man of God speaks into your life and give you the word

• If God has delivered you do not be discouraged – Keep tithing and giving offering

• If you pay tithes and give offerings, Don’t worry about it , God’s got your back

• And God can take care of you – Move in his power- Receive his promises

Let it Rain”

Matthew 24: 12-13 Mark 4:17 Proverbs 24:16 James 5: 7

• We are working to get to a place – Have you seen the power – Have you receive the promises

• If we are going to se God work his will – We have to move in his power

• Pastor has a stay with it anointing – He would not give up – He just stuck around

• God is going to give you in 2010 everything you didn’t get in the other years

• Some of us have been on the verge of quitting – “Don’t give up” – Stick around

• Why is God going to bless me in 2010 – Why not 2008.2009 – Don’t question God

• “Jesus Said,” be obedience and endure for a season – Be rooted and grounded

• God wants you to stay and endure – How long will you be here – If we look will you be gone

• God wants to show you where you came from – God wants to show you where you are at now – And where you are going

• Get happy Jesus is coming soon – Move in his power – Receive his promises

• Think about Job his beginning was not like his ending – What patience’s

• It’s time for double for your trouble ministry to begin

• Double Finances, double love in your marriage, double joy in your life

• I hear the rain it’s the former and the latter rain – It’s beginning to rain

• Forget all about the lean years we have went through – It’s raining

• There is a move of God’s power like we have never saw before

• This move has no patent on it nothing like it before – Nothing like it after

1 Kings 18:41

• God will reveal everything to his servants – Do you feel the rain

• This last rain is for you and me to get it right to move in his power

• Do you believe it is raining – This is the great rain -Let receive the promises

• This is not because of us it is because of the promise of God –Moving in power

• When you start moving in His power - You will start receiving His promises

“The Power That Worketh In You”

Ephesians 1:19 Ephesians 3:30 Ephesians 6 :10

• One of the biggest problems is - People talk it - When it comes to walk it - They don’t have it

• They struggle with the same old things day after day – Start anew in 2010

• Moving in His power means – Going after God – Going after His presence

• If you are not using the power – Then you are like a new Cadillac car

• Sitting full of gas – And not going anywhere –All dressed up and nowhere to go

• Reach out and help someone stop mediocrity in their life today- Start with “you”

• We can be a Christian and still have issues – We need to move in his power

• Do not point to someone else – Work on you – It’s for you first

• Issues in your life stop the power from working on your behalf – Then no promises

• There are things in your life that need to be corrected in order for God to start pouring His power into your life in a greater way

• We all need prayer - We all need to pray – We need prayer more than anything

• Lets stand on the street with a sign saying “Free Prayer” right here today

• We have to move in his power to see the promises – Help someone

• When the pastor says he needs some help on a project – We run

• In fact, that may well be all the exercise we get - Running the other way

• We can exercise his power- It is according to the power that works in us

• God wants his power working in us -His power can take care of everything

• We are going to start experiencing His presence like never before
2 Peter 1:3 2 Corinthians 1:20 Luke 4:1

• Forget about what happened last year – God can handle whatever happened

• Let us just go after God – God’s power is bigger than your past situations

• God use us to release the power in someone else’s life – My life and my family’s life

• Start talking back to the enemy –When he talks to you - Out talk him

• There is some mean Christians out there - Release the power of deliverance

• Let the power of God deliver you from all the issues – Speak the power

• Now you can be a walking blessing - Going some place to make something happen for somebody else – Not just for yourself

• When you start moving in His power - You will start receiving His promises

• One of the biggest problem we have as human beings is – We are always trying to do it our way

• We are always trying to get God to work out something on our level – Trying to work it out ourselves

• God wants you to get rid of and lose “you” - And gain Him

• Moving in His power means – Going after God – Going after His presence

• Going after His anointing – Going after Him as never before

• Lots of people want God to do special things in their life – Big things

• They have been locked up with issues in their lives – So many things

• God’s power has been negated – He has not been able to move on the level that He wants to move.

• First thing you need to do is take the power and start working on “you”

• Do not point to someone else – Work on you

• The power of God is for you – For you to start working on you

• There are things in your life that need to be corrected in order for God to start pouring His power into your life in a greater way

• Many churches today are just social clubs

• They are not making any impact on their communities or on people’s lives

• Most people that go to church with you will say, “What time do you get out?

• How short is the service? – They do not ask that when going to other events

• We can not let God do anything special in our lives because we want to get
in and get out

• God is going to start doing something special before the end of this year

• We are going to start experiencing His presence like never before

• If I can get everybody in this church to follow me as their Sheppard this year – To make the sacrifices – Go after God – We are going to experience God’s presence – His visitations – His miracles – His manifestations as never before

• Forget about what happened last year – God can handle whatever happened

• Let us just go after God – God’s power is bigger than your past situations

• If you believe – You shall receive

• This is going to be a year like no other year in your life

• You have to exercise the power – You can not get the power and not use it

• Believe that the power of God is in you to make a difference in people’s lives

• Believe that every where you go – You make a difference

• Before trying to do something for someone else – Be honest with yourself

• Use the power of God on your self

• You can be out of control in many areas of your life

• God does not want anything to control you

• According to the power that worketh in you - If you will let that power work

• It will clean up everything in your life – Every thing that is out of order

• Power – Re-arrange or to change things

• The power that worketh in us – Can be working in you and through you

• Now you can be a walking blessing - Going some place to make something happen for somebody else – Not just for yourself

• When you start moving in His power - You will start receiving His promises

“Is There Not a Cause”

I Samuel 17 Titus 1:5 Acts 28 Acts 16 Job 13:18 Psalm 9:4

• Goliath had the children of Israel paralyzed - They were afraid of Goliath

• Therefore, they were not doing anything or winning anyone for God’s kingdom

• Satan had them bound because of the “wolf ticket” he was selling them

• He was doing all he could to keep them from going ahead

• The enemy wants to put you in a box – He wants to restrict you – Limit you

• Hold you back from your potential – From being able to be the man or woman that God wants you to be

• Until we learn to get on God’s program – His plans – Do it His way

• We will never be able to move past the shackles of our past

• The restrictions, limitations, or the things that hold us back from obeying God

• We will never be able to experience the greatness of God in our life

• Satan knows that if he can keep you bound with fears and intimidations – He will always keep you under his foot

• Somewhere, we have to be able to start running with cause

• When we get cause in our lives – We will start causing God to show up in our lives in a greater area – Cause causes God to show up

• That is why the devil fights you from getting cause in your life

• He does not want you to have a purpose – A reason why you are here

• God did not just save us for ourselves – He saved us for everybody else out there

• Many people who say they are Christians – Are no threat to the kingdom of darkness

• Many Christians go to church just for the sake of going to church

• It is not just about going to church

• If you are going to church and you are not helping to build God’s kingdom - You are not in the will of God

• You need God to show up on your behalf – You want God to bless your life

• Why should God show up on your behalf when you are doing nothing for Him?

• He gave everything for you and you are doing nothing for Him

• You are not building His kingdom

• Not being a witness – Not discipline anybody – Not making a positive difference in other people’s lives

• Whenever you start running with cause, somebody will try to make it appear as if there is something wrong with you

• If you make up your mind that you are going to run with cause, you are going to do everything to please God

• The devil is going to send somebody into your life to try to snatch the cause from your life – Is there not a cause?

• For this cause, each of you have been brought into Calvary Christian Center

• None of you are here by accident – God has you here for a cause

• God did not bring you here under a Man of God that has a cause without you having a cause - God has you here for a cause - Run with cause

• God wants to use you beyond where you have ever been used before – God wants to bless you beyond where you have ever been blessed before

• Cause: That which produces results – To motivate – To bring about – To make it happen – Cause is a good work - Cause brings honor to God

• If there’s going to be a difference, it will happen when you pick up God’s cause

“Friendship Sunday”

Proverb 18:24 John 11:5, 35 - 36 Ecclesiastes 4:9-10 1 Corinthians 13:5

• A friend that sticks closer than a brother happens when - You come into covenant relationship with that person

• Five different levels of friendship

• Friends, they are your friends – But you have no relationship with them

• Highest = Covenant - Lowest = casual acquaintance

• Twenty-five percent of Americans have no one to confide in - No relationships

• There has been a thirty-five percent decrease in friendships in last five years

• Most people are too busy – They do not want to go out their way anymore

• Fifty-five percent of Americans say they have no one they can trust

• That is a miserable life – You got to have somebody to have a relationship with that you can trust

• You have to take time – Just like “Build a bear” – Build a friend

• If you are a hermit right now, and you want to just live long - Get a friend - Some one you can confide in that can help you to live long

• Friendships have been attacked – The world fights hard against friendships

• We have all had difficulty in relationships - That is a big issue

• Some people can not bounce back after a difficult situation

• Why do we have difficulty in developing healthy relationships?

• Because of our perception – How we perceive people

• Our expectation for people might be too high

• Some enter relationships with the wrong motives

• Some put people into a box – When the box gets rocked – They say good-bye

• Some can not have a relationship because they have too many issues

• People use to speak to you when you would pass them on the street – If you knew them or not

• Do not be anchored in to your past pain, past hurts, or past mistakes

• God wants to bring a new person into your life to help you – True friendship

• You can not help correct what you will not confront –Let go of the past

• Faithfulness and loyalty are the two keys to true friendship

• It is better to have a friend close by – Than to have a brother far away

• Relationships – Friendships – Are very important to you - If it does nothing except make you live longer – Some of you want to live longer

• The enemy wants to make it more easier to walk away from relationships than to stay in one – It takes time to be able to get into relationships

• Relationships don’t just happen – We have to build them

• In every relationship – There are some challenges

• 101 Principle – You’ll find one percent of something wrong with a person

• Most relationships are broken up over one percent of something

• Focus on finding something good about a person – Then put one hundred percent towards that good

• Expand your borders by building more relationships – That is what G-12 is about

• Relationships takes – Time –Effort -Sacrifice

“For This Cause”

1 Samuel 17:28 Romans 15:9 Titus 1:5 John 23:27 Acts 28:18

• You will never do much until you get hooked up with God’s cause for you

• You are where you are today for this cause – David was driven with cause

• Most people have a heart to serve God – They need a good butt kicking to get them moving

• How can we let the enemy control us, so we have no cause – Is there not a cause

• We can not let the world around us stay in darkness – This is the cause

• The church is the only thing that will make a difference to the world

• The dope-pushers, the recession, and the down and outers - They all need help

• The church is the only thing that can pierce the darkness

• We must get off of our rusty dusty ( behind ) – We have to think of the cause

• Think about souls – God is looking for men and women driven with cause

• God is always thinking about souls – The enemy is always thinking about souls

• Jesus is the cause – He is the way – The only way - The only one

• Many believers try to live their lives without a cause - Is there not a cause

• Depression and suicide is taking over many people today – Because they have a
no cause

• If people have a cause - Depression and suicide will fall off of them

• When you want God to do something for you – God will say “Is there a cause?”
